'He Has Brought The Members Together': Harlem Local Hero

HARLEM, NY — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. We’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

How do you know the local hero?

He has been chair of CB9M for two terms and has been instrumental in bringing Covid protection to our neighborhood

What does the local hero do?

Pro bono activities, as a former chair of the Board,
i KNOW that the position is almost a full time job.

Why do you believe the local hero should be recognized or honored?

He has been a successful leader of the CB. He has brought the members together; we have never had so many unanimously adopted resolutions. But it is his work bringing services to our CB9 district that make him deserving of the honor

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the local hero?

He cares and acts for all members of the community
