Man, 24, Stabbed In Broad Daylight Near Central Park In Harlem: Police

HARLEM, NY — A man was stabbed twice in Harlem late Wednesday morning just steps from Central Park, police said.

At around 11:30 a.m., a 24-year-old man was stabbed twice — once in the back and stomach — on Central Park North between Fifth Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard, according to officials.

Medics rushed the injured man in stable condition to Mount Sinai Morningside, the NYPD said.

A police spokesperson said that a person of interest, a 27-year-old man, has been taken into custody, but no arrests have been made as of 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
