Man Arrested After Harlem Senior Groping: Police

HARLEM, NY — A man identified as the person who followed a 74-year-old woman into her Harlem apartment and groped her has been arrested, police said.

Alfred Eaddy, 64, was arrested on Sunday in downtown Manhattan and charged with burglary, according to the NYPD.

According to police, on Jan. 31 at around 8 p.m., Eaddy followed the 74-year-old woman into her apartment near Broadway and West 142nd Street.

When he got inside, he groped the woman over her clothing, according to police.

No injuries were reported, the NYPD said.

According to police, Eaddy is currently homeless.
