Man Bashed With Baseball Bat On Harlem Street: Video
Police are looking for a masked man seen on video bashing another man's head with a baseball bat on a busy Hamilton Heights street.
HARLEM, NY — Police are looking for a man who smacked another man in the head with a baseball bat on a busy Hamilton Heights street last month — an act that was captured on video.
The 47-year-old victim was walking along Amsterdam Avenue between West 147th and 148th street around 8 a.m. on Nov. 29, when the unidentified suspect walked up from behind, police said.
The two men had been in an argument shortly beforehand, according to the New York Post.

Video released Saturday shows the assailant following a few steps behind the victim, then reaching into his pants, grabbing an orange baseball bat, and swinging it hard at the back of the man's head, causing him to crumple to the ground.
The attacker continued to stand over the victim, appearing to yell and kick him at least once, the video shows.

The victim, who suffered a laceration to the head and bruises, was taken in stable condition to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem, police said. The suspect fled on foot to an unknown location.
Police say the suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with "Nike" written on the front, as well as gray sweatpants and black sneakers.
