Man Beat 68-Year-Old On East Harlem Street, Police Say
A 68-year-old man was beaten on an East Harlem street corner in a Valentine's Day assault, police said. A suspect is being sought.

EAST HARLEM, NY — A 68-year-old man was beaten on an East Harlem street after a fight with an unknown assailant, according to police, who asked for help identifying the suspect.
The assault happened around 4:15 p.m. on Feb. 14, on the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 116th Street.
The victim got into an argument with the suspect, who knocked the 68-year-old to the ground and struck him multiple times before walking away, police said. The victim was taken to Metropolitan Hospital, in stable condition.

Police released footage of the suspect, described as a light-skinned man in his 40s with black hair, last seen wearing a black leather jacket with a black hoodie underneath, black pants, black sneakers and black gloves.
