Man Found Dead At Hamilton Heights Building, Police Say

A 26-year-old man was pronounced dead in the courtyard of a newly constructed luxury building, officials said.

HARLEM, NY — A man was found dead inside the courtyard of a newly constructed luxury building in Hamilton Heights on Sunday, officials said.

At around 12:20 p.m. on Sunday, police discovered a 26-year-old man lying in a third-floor courtyard inside a new, 28-story building on West 153rd Street between Broadway and Riverside Drive, according to an NYPD spokesperson.

Responding medics declared the man dead at the scene and police officials told Patch the injuries appeared to be consistent with a fall from an elevated position.

The victim's name is being withheld until the family can be notified, and police said the medical examiner is still investigating the cause of death.
