A 60-year-old man was found dead with stab wounds inside the Harlem park early Friday, according to police.

HARLEM, NY — A man was found stabbed to death inside Harlem's Marcus Garvey Park early Friday, according to police.

Officers were approached shortly before 2:30 a.m. Friday by a person who told them there was an unconscious man inside the park, police said.

The officers found the victim, a 60-year-old man, with "multiple stab wounds to the body," police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Authorities did not specify where in the park he was found.

The man's name was withheld pending family notification. There have been no arrests but an investigation is ongoing, police said.
