Man Gropes 12-Year-Old In East Harlem, Police Say

The man followed the girl into a business and then groped her, police said.

EAST HARLEM, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify a man wanted for groping a 12-year-old girl in East Harlem, police said.

The man followed the girl into a business on East 116 Street and First Avenue on Sunday evening, police said. Then he approached her from behind and grabbed the child's buttocks, police said.

Police released photos of the suspect, which were captured on building security cameras. The man has a bear and curly black hair, according to the police photos. At the time of the groping he was wearing a black jacket, shirt, pants and shoes.
