EAST HARLEM, NEW YORK — A man was gunned down in broad daylight on an East Harlem street corner Monday afternoon, police said.
A 42-year-old man was shot in the chest and thigh outside the Lincoln Houses on Madison Avenue and East 132nd Street just before 2:30 p.m., police said.
The shooter escaped into the public housing development and his victim taken to Harlem Hospital, said police.

No arrests had been made as of 3:30 p.m. Monday, according to police.
The 42-year-old is expected to survive his injuries, said police.
