Man Knocked Off Bike, Beat Up And Robbed In Harlem: Police

The victim was hit in the head with a scooter and kicked repeatedly, before getting his wallet taken, police said.

HARLEM, NY — A man was robbed after getting knocked off his bike and attacked in Harlem, police said on Monday.

A 27-year-old man was riding his bike near First Avenue and East 125th Street around 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 6, when a person unexpectedly pushed him off his bike, police said.

The attacker proceeded to hit the cyclist in the head with a scooter and kick him multiple times, police said.

The robber grabbed the victim's wallet, which contained around $80, and fled the scene, police said.

The 27-year-old man was taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, police said.
