HARLEM, NY — A man looking to buy a motorcycle was robbed in Harlem after setting up a deal for the vehicle online, police said.

The 47-year-old victim thought he was meeting a motorcycle seller in front of an apartment building on West 149th Street and Convent Avenue on the night of April 25, but was instead held up at gunpoint by two men, police said. Robbers stole $980 in cash and then ran from the scene, police said.

The prospective buyer was not hurt during the robbery, police said.
