Man Robs Women At Knifepoint In Harlem Apartment Buildings: NYPD

The man is accused of robbing two women in the span of two days.

HARLEM, NY — The NYPD is trying to find a man wanted in connection with to knifepoint robberies in Harlem apartment buildings, police said.

Shaquan Jordan, 45, is accused of robbing two women in apartment building hallways in October, 2017, police said. Jordan, who is also known by the alias "Nardo Hodnett," committed both robberies in the span of two days, police said.

The first robbery occurred on the night of Oct. 18 in a building on West 129 Street, police said. Jordan followed a 29-year-old woman back to her home, where he approached her in a third floor hallway, police said. The man pulled a knife on the woman and demanded money and valuables, police said. The woman handed over and iPhone, $25 cash and her New York State ID.

Jordan robbed a 30-year-old woman on the fourth floor of an apartment building on West 133 Street one night later, police said. Jordan once again pulled a knife on the woman and demanded she hand over her property, police said. The woman resisted, but Jordan was able to steal her handbag and iPhone, police said.

Jordan is described as standing 5-foot-5 and weighing about 155 pounds with brown eyes and a bald head.
