Man Shot In The Back In Harlem, Takes Himself To Hospital: NYPD
Police are still on the lookout for suspects, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.
HARLEM, NY — A man, 41, was shot Saturday morning at the intersection of 137th St. and Lenox Ave. near Malcolm X. Blvd., an NYPD spokesman told Patch.
The shooting took place at 7:15 a.m., the spokesman said.
“He was shot in the back,” the NYPD spokesman said. “He claims he heard gunshots and felt pain.”

The man was a mere two blocks from Harlem Hospital and took himself there, the spokesman added.
“He is in stable condition,” said the spokesman.

There are no suspects at this time and the investigation is ongoing, said the spokesman.
