Man Shot Dead In Lobby Of Harlem Building, Police Say

HARLEM, NY — A man was shot dead in the lobby of a Harlem building Thursday evening, police said.

Brandon Vails, 28, was found with a wound to his torso in the building on East 127th Street, near Park Avenue and blocks from Marcus Garvey Park.

The man, who lived in the building, was rushed to Harlem Hospital but was pronounced dead. Nobody had been arrested by Friday morning, police said.
