Man Shot In Harlem In Broad Daylight, Police Say

A man was shot and wounded in broad daylight Monday on a Hamilton Heights street steps away from Broadway, police said.

HARLEM, NY — A man was shot on a Hamilton Heights street in broad daylight Monday afternoon, according to police.

Shots rang out just after 3:30 p.m. near the corner of West 138th Street and Hamilton Place — steps away from Broadway, and near Montefiore Square park, police said.

The victim, an unidentified man, was hit in the left wrist, an NYPD spokesperson said. He was taken to Mount Sinai-St. Luke's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
