Man Shot And Killed In Harlem: NYPD

The shooting took place early Wednesday morning on 116th Street between Second and Third avenues, police said.

HARLEM, NY — A man was shot and killed in Harlem on Wednesday morning, police said.

Officers found a 26-year-old man shot in the chest about 1:50 a.m. at 232 E. 116th St., between Second and Third avenues, police said.

Medics rushed the man to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

NYPD did not provide any details on the suspect or information on what might have led up to the shooting.

There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
