Man Shot Sitting In Car In Harlem; 6 Teens Sought, Police Say
A man sitting in his car was shot on a residential block of Central Harlem on Tuesday, and six teens are being sought, police said.
HARLEM, NY — A man was shot while sitting in his car in Central Harlem on Wednesday, according to police, who are searching for a half dozen suspects.
The unidentified man was sitting in a car on a residential block of West 114th Street, between Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. and Frederick Douglass boulevards, when shots rang out around 8 p.m., an NYPD spokesperson said.
The man was shot once in the left buttock, police said.

He was rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to authorities.
Six male teenagers fled the scene on foot, according to police.

Video posted to the Citizen app showed a large police presence on the corner of West 114th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard following the shooting.
