10-Year-Old Girl Raped In East Harlem, Man Sought: NYPD
The two met through an online app, police said.

HARLEM, NY — A man raped a 10-year-old girl in East Harlem earlier this month, police said.
The unidentified man and the victim first met through an unspecified online app, according to officials.
On Jan. 6 at about 9 p.m., the man raped the young girl in the area of Third Avenue and East 122nd Street, police said.

Afterwards, the man fled on foot and the victim was brought by medics to a nearby hospital in stable condition, according to the NYPD.
Police released an image of a man they say is connected to the incident and ask that anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
