Man Stabbed On Harlem Subway Platform, Police Say
A man was stabbed in the back, reportedly unprovoked, on a 125th Street subway platform early Friday.
HARLEM, NY — A man was stabbed while waiting for a train on a Harlem subway platform early Friday, according to police.
The 43-year-old victim was inside the A/B/C/D station on 125th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue around 4:30 a.m. Friday, when an unidentified man stabbed him once in the back, police say.
The attack was unprovoked, according to the Daily News, though police were unable to confirm that fact.

The victim was rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital and was expected to survive, police say.
Police described the suspect as a man in his twenties, wearing a black sweatshirt. He fled the station in an unknown direction after the stabbing, authorities said.
