Man Struck By Train In Harlem Wednesday, Delays For 2/3: NYPD
The victim in his 50s was transported to an area hospital for serious injuries during the overnight strike, police said.

HARLEM, NY - A man was struck by a 3 train in Harlem Wednesday morning, prompting several delays for uptown commuters, authorities said.
The victim, who is in his 50s, was found laying on the trackbed of the southbound 3 train platform at West 116th Street & Malcolm X Boulevard just before 3 a.m., police said.
While a train conductor tried to use his emergency breaks on an incoming train, the train didn't stop in time, police said.

The victim was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital where he was listed in stable condition, police said. No criminality is suspected.
2 trains were suspended for about 30 minutes between the 149 Street and 96 Street stations and 3 train service was completely suspended about 3 a.m., NYCT Subway said via X.

As of 5 a.m., 2 and 3 trains were still running with delays in both directions as a result of the train hit.
