Man Tied To 4 Gunpoint Robberies, Teen Stabbing In Harlem Nabbed: PD

EAST HARLEM, NY - A Brooklyn man accused of stabbing a teen while on the run after committing several gunpoint robberies in Harlem has been arrested, authorities said.

Donovan Dixon, 30, of Prospect Heights, was arrested and charged with robbery and assault on Tuesday in East Harlem, police said.

Dixon allegedly stabbed a 16-year-old in the shoulder/neck area following a dispute on Sept. 28 about 6:20 p.m. outside 74 East 116 St., police said. The assailant fled the scene shortly thereafter.

The teen suffered a large puncture wound and was rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem in critical but stable condition.

Dixon is “known to the department” and was wanted in connection with at least four gunpoint robberies between December 2022 and August 2023 in East and Central Harlem, police said.
