Man Violently Robbed On Harlem Brownstone Block, Police Say
Robbers stole an envelope containing $7,500 in cash after punching a man in the face.

HARLEM, NY — A man was beaten and robbed of an envelope containing $7,500 in cash on a Harlem street, police said.
A 45-year-old man was standing in front of a brownstone home on West 132nd Street between Malcolm X and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. boulevards on Tuesday, May 26 when he was attacked by two unknown men, police said. Both robbers came up from behind the man, punched him in the face and snatched the cash-containing envelope from within the victim's jacket, police said.
Police released photos of the two suspects on Monday. Both men are believed to be in their 30s.

The victim suffered injuries to his face during the robbery, police said.
