Men Rob Parked Car Passenger In Central Harlem, Police Say
Video shows two men grabbing cash and a fanny pack from a passenger in a car parked on a Harlem street, police said.
HARLEM, NY — Two men robbed a passenger in a parked car in Central Harlem earlier this month, according to police, who asked for help finding the suspects.
The victim, a 48-year-old man, was sitting in the passenger seat of a car parked on Lenox Avenue between West 131st and 132nd streets around 1:40 a.m. on Sept. 5, police said.
Two unknown men walked up, flashed a gun and demanded his property, police said.

They then snatched the man's chain, fanny pack and $70 in cash before fleeing on a moped westbound along West 131st Street, police said. Nobody was injured.
Police described the first man as having a slim build and wearing a white face mask, a red hoodie, black pants and red sneakers, while the second man also had a slim build and wore a black face mask, black hoodie, gray pants and green sneakers.

Police on Wednesday released video showing the two men pacing around the block, walking up to the parked car and taking the man's belongings. Authorities asked anyone with information to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
