HARLEM, NY - A 22-year-old city employee was arrested and charged in Harlem with attempted murder this week, authorities said.

Diamond Matthews, an employee with the New York City Office of Technology and Innovation, which runs the citywide 311 complaint system, was charged about 9 p.m. while she was off duty, police said.

Matthews' arrest stems from a fight where she reportedly served as a bystander while one person stabbed another, Gothamist reported. Matthews was arraigned Tuesday, pleaded not guilty and made bail, the outlet added.
