Person Struck By Train In East Harlem, FDNY Says
The person suffered traumatic injuries and was taken to the hospital.

EAST HARLEM, NY — A person was taken to the hospital suffering traumatic injuries after being hit by a train in East Harlem, an FDNY spokesman said.
Emergency personnel responded to the elevated Metro-North Railroad tracks on Park Avenue and East 125th Street shortly before 2 a.m. Thursday, an FDNY spokesman said. When they arrived at the station, they found that a person had been hit by the tracks and was possibly underneath the train, the spokesman said.
The injured person was recovered from the tracks and taken to Harlem Hospital suffering traumatic injuries, an FDNY spokesman said. The spokesman could not confirm details about the person's condition.
