Person Struck By Train In Harlem, Seriously Injured, FDNY Says
The person was rushed to Harlem Hospital after being struck by a train at Lexington Avenue and East 125th Street.

HARLEM, NY — A person was rushed to the hospital suffering serious injuries after being struck by a train in Harlem, an FDNY spokesman said.
The person was hit at the Lexington Avenue and East 125th Street station shortly before 2 p.m., an FDNY spokesman said. FDNY Medics rescued the person from the tracks and rushed them to Harlem Hospital, the spokesman said.
The FDNY spokesman could not confirm details about the person who was hit, or their status after arrival at the hospital.

Northbound 4 and 5 trains were being held in stations while first responders operated at the 125th Street station, MTA officials announced. Around 2:10 p.m. trains began running on the local track, with some 5 trains being diverted to the 2 line, transit officials said.
