Police Arrest Woman in Cold Case Murder After 26 Years
An arrest has been made in the death of a 19-year-old who was killed in 1990.

HARLEM, NY — The 26-year wait for justice in the murder of a 19-year-old in Harlem has finally been solved.
According to the NYPD, 48-year-old Zunilda Rosario was arrested as she got off a plane at JFK Airport on Thursday. Police said she was charged in the shooting of Juan Deleon. Deleon, just 19 at the time of his murder on Feb. 11, 1990, was the father of one of Rosario's children.
Rosario was charged with murder, criminal use of a firearm and possession of a weapon.

The Daily News quotes a police source who says a witness finally came forward in February to attest they saw Rosario shoot Deleon in the head and chest in an apartment building at West 150th Street.
Rosario was reportedly returning from the Dominican Republic when she was detained by Port Authority police and arrested by the NYPD on a stopover in New York.
