Senior Groped By Man In Harlem Apartment: Police

HARLEM, NY — A homeless man is being sought by the NYPD in connection to a sexual assault on a 74-year-old woman, police said.

On Jan. 31 at around 8 p.m., the man, named by police officials as Alfred Eaddy, 64, followed the woman into her apartment near Broadway and West 142nd Street, officials said.

When he got inside, he groped the woman over her clothing, according to police.

Eaddy was last seen fleeing the building on foot, officials said, and no injuries were reported, the NYPD said.

According to police, Eaddy is currently homeless.
