Shots Fired A Second Time On 127th Street This Week: Police
Gunfire again erupted on 127th Street on Friday, after a bullet hit a school bus on Wednesday, officials said.

HARLEM, NY – Shots were fired near 237 West 127th Street just before 1:30 p.m. on Friday, police confirmed.
No injuries were reported, police said, but ballistic evidence was recovered at the scene.
The incident is under investigation, and no description of any suspect is available, police said.

It’s the second report of gunfire on 127th Street near Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd this week, although a police spokesperson could not confirm a connection between the incidents.
On Wednesday afternoon, two men escaped by scooter after shots were fired in the area, striking a school bus, according to police. No children were on the bus at the time of the incident.

A third report of gunfire came in Thursday morning at about 4:30 a.m. a little more than a block away at 73 West 126th Street near Malcolm X Blvd., police said. Nearby officers canvassed the area and didn’t find any ballistics, so at this time the report is unconfirmed, according to police.
