So Long From Your Harlem Reporter
Nick Garber leaves Patch after two great years of neighborhood news. Here's how to reach your new Harlem reporter.

HARLEM, NY — Dear Harlem readers: after more than two years covering the neighborhood, this week was my last at Patch.
I'm taking on a new reporting job in the city later this month.
But don't fret: Harlem is in the capable hands of Gus Saltonstall, who takes over as your neighborhood reporter starting Monday, Jan. 9. Email your juiciest tips and most salacious stories to him.

It's been a joy covering the ups and downs of the neighborhood since 2020: a clergy-developer payoff scandal, the city's eviction of a beloved church, the ongoing One45-turned-truck-depot saga, a battle over gates on Striver's Row, a displaced community garden, police brutality and accountability, and too many political squabbles to count.
I've relished the opportunity to field your questions, chase down your tips and tell the neighborhood's stories. Please keep in touch (email me here, or follow me on Twitter) — and keep reading Patch.
