Subway Slams Into Man Inside Harlem Station: Police

HARLEM, NY — A man was hit by a subway train inside a Harlem subway station Thursday afternoon, police said.

A 47-year-old man was standing on the downtown 2 train platform inside the 125th Street station when a departing train hit him as it exited the station, police said.

Officials could not describe exactly how the train struck the man, but police said there was no criminality suspected.

The man fell back onto the platform and medics treated him for a head injury and bleeding before rushing him to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, according to officials.
