Teen Fighting For His Life After Harlem Stabbing Sunday: NYPD
Another man was stabbed in the torso just three blocks away less than a day later, police said.
HARLEM, NY - Two Harlem stabbings reported just three blocks apart sent two victims - including a teen who is fighting for his life - to an area hospital Sunday, police said.
In the first incident, a 19-year-old victim was stabbed in both arms about 3:29 a.m. in front of 485 Lenox Ave. near the intersection of West 135th Street and Lenox Avenue, police said.
The victim was rushed to Harlem Hospital in critical condition, police said. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.

A man was found stabbed in his torso a 414 Lenox Ave. just three blocks away at 8 p.m., police said. He is expected to recover.

A third incident in Harlem, which took place on Saturday, saw a 39-year-old man slashed and stabbed by two attackers near West 116th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard, police said.
As of Monday, New York City has 23,277 reported felony assault incidents so far in 2023, according to city data. That's up about 6.3% from the same time the previous year.
In the 32nd precinct where the Sunday stabbings took place, police have seen 397 incidents so far in 2023. That’s compared to 427 reported this time last year.
