Teen Girl Fatally Stabbed In Harlem Apartment, Boyfriend Sought: NYPD
Saniyah Lawrence, 16, was stabbed to death in a Harlem apartment on Sunday. Police named 18-year-old Zyaire Crumbley as a suspect.

HARLEM, NY — A teen girl was stabbed to death in a Central Harlem apartment on Sunday, according to police, who have identified the suspect as her 18-year-old boyfriend who remains on the run.
Police were called shortly before 6 p.m. Sunday to 2306 Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Boulevard, an apartment building between West 135th and 136th streets.
Inside an apartment, they found 16-year-old Saniyah Lawrence, who had been stabbed in the neck, police said. She was rushed to Harlem Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Lawrence lived at the NYCHA Martin Luther King Towers on West 112th Street, police said.
Early Monday, police named the suspect as Zyaire Crumbley, 18, identified by an NYPD spokesperson as Lawrence's boyfriend.

Crumbley was described as Black, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 140 pounds, with a medium build and short, black hair.
