Teenage Girl Shot In Harlem: NYPD
A 15-year-old girl was hospitalized after she was shot in Harlem on Wednesday night, police confirmed.

HARLEM, NY – A 15-year-old girl was shot in Harlem at about 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday, an NYPD spokesperson told Patch.
Officers responded to a 911 call regarding a shooting near 2430 7th Avenue, but found the victim - who had fled the scene - almost a mile away near West 130th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue.
Emergency responders transported the girl to Harlem Hospital, where she’s in stable condition after being treated for a gunshot wound to her right thigh.

No information about her attacker is available. Ballistics were recovered on scene, officials said.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
