Two Shot At Harlem Public Housing Complex, Police Say
A man and a woman were driven to the hospital after being shot in front of a King Towers apartment building.
HARLEM, NY — Two people were hospitalized after being shot in front of a Harlem public housing complex early Friday morning, an NYPD spokesperson said.
A 34-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman were shot shortly after 12:30 a.m. at the King Towers building on the corner of Lenox Avenue and West 112th Street, police said. Both victims were taken to St. Luke's hospital in a private car, police said.
The man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and the woman suffered a gunshot wound to her ankle, police said. Both were treated in stable condition at the hospital, an NYPD spokesperson said.

A gunman wearing a gray hoodie and black pants with white stripes was seen fleeing the scene of the shooting, police said. No arrests have been made and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing, an NYPD spokesperson said.
