Victim Hospitalized After E-Bike Attack In East Harlem, Police Say
The woman sustained multiple fractures and cuts all over her body during the attack, police said.

EAST HARLEM, NY — Police are looking for a man who beat a 57-year-old woman with an e-bike, causing her multiple fractures throughout her body in East Harlem, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the attack happened back on July 2 at 3 p.m. in front of an apartment building located at 448 East 119th St., which is between First Avenue and Pleasant Avenue in East Harlem.
The man was riding the electric bicycle when he approached the victim, police said. He got off his e-bike and struck the woman with it and attempted to remove her purse, police said.

Then, the perpetrator biked away along East 119th Street toward First Avenue, police said.

When medics arrived, they rushed the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition, authorities said.
The NYPD is investigating the attack and has released a surveillance photo of the suspect.
NYPD officials said the man is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and 180 pounds. The man was last seen wearing a multicolored cap, a white T-shirt, black shorts, and black sneakers, authorities said.
