Wheelchair-Bound Gunman Opens Fire In Harlem, Police Say
A man using a wheelchair fired off several shots on West 134th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard.

HARLEM, NY — A man in a wheelchair opened fire during a dispute on a Harlem street during an early morning block party over the weekend, according to police and surveillance footage that captured the shooting.
The unknown man opened fire on West 134th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard shortly after 3:40 a.m., police said. Several shots were fired, according to surveillance footage released by the NYPD, but nobody was hurt.
Police who responded to the area shortly after the shooting ran into a crowd of about 500 people on Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard. Partygoers hurled glass bottles at NYPD vehicles attempting to disperse the crowd.
