Woman In Critical Condition After Getting Shot In Head In Harlem: PD

The shooting happened around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday morning on the sixth floor of a building at 60 E. 135th St., police said.

HARLEM, NY — A woman is in critical condition after getting shot in the head Wednesday morning in Harlem, a police spokesperson told Patch.

The shooting happened around 8:30 a.m. within an apartment on the sixth floor of a building at 60 E. 13th St., police said. The building is part of the Lincoln NYCHA development.

The spokesperson did not have available information on the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

The woman was rushed to a local hospital, police said.

There has been no arrest and the investigation remains ongoing, police said.
