The woman was ambushed as she tried to enter an apartment building on West 130th Street and Lenox Avenue.

HARLEM, NY — A woman was groped during an attempted robbery in the entrance of a Harlem apartment building, police said.
The 24-year-old victim was walking into a building on West 130th Street and Lenox Avenue at 3 a.m. on the morning of Jan. 12 when she was ambushed by an unknown man in the building's lobby, police said. The man shoved her against a wall, demanded her property and groped her buttocks underneath her clothing, an NYPD spokesperson said.
Before the robber could steal any of the woman's belongings, he fled the scene, police said. The NYPD released a photo of the suspect this week.
