Woman Slashed On East Harlem Subway Platform, Police Say
The woman was slashed twice on the face during a dispute with an unknown man.

EAST HARLEM, NY — A woman was hospitalized after being slashed in the face on an East Harlem subway platform, police said.
The 33-year-old victim was arguing with an unknown man on the platform of the East 125th Street and Lexington Avenue subway station on the night of Monday, Jan. 20 when the man became violent, police said. He pulled an unknown object from his pocket and slashed the woman twice on the left side of her face, an NYPD spokesperson said.
Medics rushed to woman to Harlem Hospital where she was treated in stable condition, police said.

The NYPD released photos of the suspect taken by security cameras within the subway station. No arrests have been made in connection with the assault and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
