Woman Stabbed To Death In East Harlem Apartment, Police Say

EAST HARLEM, NY — A woman was found stabbed to death inside an East Harlem apartment Thursday morning, according to police.

Lisa Epton, 45, was found around before 10 a.m. inside the kitchen of an apartment at 435 East 102nd St., within the NYCHA East River Houses, police said.

She was lying face-down, with a stab wound to the torso, according to police. She was pronounced dead at the scene

Nobody has been arrested, but an investigation is ongoing, police said.

Epton lived in the NYCHA Wagner Houses on East 120th Street, according to authorities.
