After Harrison police arrived on the scene, they found two men, 20-year-old Patrick Quinn and 26-year-old Thomas Stokes, both residents of the United Kingdom, attempting to solicit roofing work from other town residents.
Police say that the two men, who both spoke with Irish accents, said they were from the U.K. and have only been in the U.S. for a short amount of time. They told police that they were roofers and that they did not have a permit to solicit, nor licenses or permits to perform any home improvement work.
