2 Yonkers Men Arrested In String Of Mail Thefts: Harrison PD
The men were found with mail, including stolen checks and tools commonly used to "fish" mail out of blue USPS mailboxes.

HARRISON, NY — The Harrison Police Department said a three-day investigation led to the arrest of two Yonkers men for stealing mail in the Town of Harrison.
On Wednesday, Harrison police stopped a vehicle they believed was involved in previous mail thefts in town.
Inside the vehicle, police found several pieces of mail, including stolen checks "fished" from mailboxes, and tools commonly used to steal the mail out of blue, sidewalk USPS mailboxes.

Jonathan De Los Santos Flores, 23, was charged with six misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, one misdemeanor count of possession of burglar’s tools, and one misdemeanor count of petit larceny.
Thomas Gomez Ortega, 23, was also charged with six counts of criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree and one count of possession of burglar’s tools.

Flores and Ortega were released with desk appearance tickets and are due back in Harrison Town Court on March 21.
