4 Arrested On Felony Grand Larceny Charges At Wegmans
The four suspects and a child filled shopping carts with over $1,000 of merchandise and left without paying, according to Harrison police.

HARRISON, NY — A supermarket sweep in Westchester ended with felony charges against four people who attempted to steal over a thousand dollars in merchandise, according to Harrison police.
The Harrison Police Department announced on Wednesday the arrest of four suspects on grand larceny charges at the Wegmans in the Town of Harrison.
Police say that the four suspects and a child entered Wegmans, filled shopping carts with over $1000 of merchandise and passed all points of sale without paying for the items.

Wegmans Loss Prevention alerted police that the suspects were attempting to flee, but they were later apprehended nearby.


After positive identification by Wegmans Loss Prevention, Larisa Rostas, 22, Imre-Alexandru Varga, 19, Larissa Sava, 20, and Nadia Covaciu, 23, were arrested.

All four suspects face charges of felony fourth degree grand larceny. Sava also faces the charge of misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.
They were all released on their own recognizance, with a Harrison Town Court appearance scheduled for September 10.
