6-Week Lane Closures On Route 120 In Westchester Begin Sunday Night

The lane closures, which will last until Apr. 30, are needed to allow for bridge painting, weather permitting, according to the NYSDOT.

HARRISON, NY — A 6-week-long lane restriction is planned along NY Rte. 120 in Harrison, according to the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT).

The NYSDOT is alerting Westchester County drivers that one lane of State Route 120 in each direction will close between American Lane and Gateway Lane in Harrison, beginning Sunday, March 10, through Tuesday, April 30. The closures will allow for bridge painting, weather permitting.

Drivers are being urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in a drivers license suspension.
