Police and other first responders have been searching for Bailie since she and her husband went missing on Thursday. On Monday, just before 11 a.m., Rye Brook police notified the Harrison police that a contractor had discovered what appeared to be the remains of a flood victim under a displaced and partially destroyed bridge, not far from where the body of Frances Bailie was found.

“With the water level having dropped significantly over the past 48 hours, we are relieved that the victim's body was recovered today and that the surviving family are able to have closure," Harrison Police Chief John Vasta said.
