Breeze Adds Westchester Flights To Myrtle Beach And Portland, Maine

The airline previously announced Raleigh-Durham flights. Summer routes to Jacksonville and Norfolk will return as well.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Breeze Airways is giving air travelers a few new reasons to avoid New York City airports.

Breeze Airways announced on Wednesday that it will be adding two new nonstop routes from Westchester County Airport to Myrtle Beach, FL and to Portland, ME, along with bringing back the popular seasonal service to both Norfolk, VA, and Jacksonville, FL.

As previously announced, service from Westchester to Raleigh/Durham will start May 3, increasing to three times weekly from June 26.

Flights from Westchester County to:

  • Myrtle Beach, SC will operate on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from June 20, with one-way flights from $59 (purchase by April 30).
  • Portland, ME will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, from June 20, with one-way flights from $49 (purchase by April 30).
  • Raleigh-Durham, NC will operate on Mondays and Fridays from May 3, with Wednesdays added from June 26 through October.
  • Jacksonville, FL will resume on Tuesdays and Saturdays, starting June 22, with one-way flights from $49 (purchase by April 30).
  • Norfolk, VA will resume on Mondays and Fridays, starting June 21, with one-way flights from $59 (purchase by April 30).

Breeze Airways says that it is gearing up for a busy summer travel season with its "Picture This" promotion. Travelers can get 35 percent off the base fare on roundtrip flights to all 56 cities, using the code "SNAPSHOT" at checkout on the Breeze website or on the Breeze app by April 25 (11:59pm PT), for travel from April 24 to October 10.

Although a low-fare carrier, Breeze was recognized by Travel + Leisure readers as one of the Top 5 Best U.S. Airlines for the second consecutive year. The airline offers guests both bundled and à la carte options known as Nice, Nicer and, on flights operated with the Airbus A220-300, Nicest.

Breeze doesn’t charge change or cancellation fees up to 15 minutes prior to departure and offers other benefits such as free family seating.

Breeze Airways began service in May 2021. Founded by aviation entrepreneur David Neeleman, Breeze operates a fleet of Embraer 190/195 and Airbus A220-300 aircraft, with a focus on flights between secondary airports, bypassing hubs for shorter travel times.
