Football Huskies Have Long Road Ahead
Harrison's football team starts playoff action tonight against Poughkeepsie.

As if playing three games in 10 days wasn't a big enough challenge, Harrison's football playoff schedule starts Thursday night with a win-or-go-home game against one of the top teams in New York State.
Led by a standout senior quarterback, the Poughkeepsie Pioneers are 7-0 and ranked second in the state's class A behind only defending state champion Aquinas. The Huskies, who enter the game with a 3-3 record, have already lost to Poughkeepsie this year, 27-14.
Thursday's game will be played at Arlington High School at 6 p.m.

But the Huskies know a thing or two about playoff runs, Harrison won the section championship a year ago after losing the last game of the regular season to Rye.
If Harrison upsets Poughkeepsie they will have to turn around and play again Tuesday against the winner of tonight's game between Ossining and Gorton. A win there lands Harrison in the championship game on Nov. 6.

Three football games in less than two weeks isn't going to be easy, so if Harrison wants to repeat as Section I champs they'd better buckle up—it's going to be a wild ride.
