Harrison PD, FBI Arrest 4 Chilean Men Tied To Nationwide Burglary Ring
After a Jan. 30 residential burglary in Harrison, detectives were able to link the suspects to burglaries in four states.
HARRISON, NY — A break-in in Westchester County has been linked to an international crime ring, according to police and federal officials.
The Harrison Police Department, along with the FBI, arrested four Chilean nationals in Queens on Monday. The suspects were taken into custody under full extradition warrants in connection with a Massachusetts home burglary that took place earlier this month, according to authorities.
The law enforcement officials believe 28-year-old Jose Hevia-Irribarra, 30-year-old Sebastian Figueroa-Urzua, 21-year-old Yordy Hernandez-Ramos, and 28-year-old Alexander Silva-Yanez are part of a larger national burglary operation, with possible connections to dozens of residential burglaries across the U.S. dating back to 2023.

The investigation began after a home burglary in Harrison on January 30. As the investigation progressed, the Harrison detectives uncovered evidence linking the four suspects to several burglaries in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Massachusetts, HPD said. This led to arrest warrants being issued in Massachusetts.
With assistance from the FBI's Westchester Safe Streets Task Force, Harrison police executed a search warrant at the suspects' home in Queens, where stolen property was found, according to police.

Police say that all four men were found to be overstays in the U.S. and were handed over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Harrison police said the successful operation was the result of extensive collaboration between the Harrison Police Department, the FBI's Westchester Safe Streets Task Force, the Nassau County Police Department, the Westchester County District Attorney's Office, the Westchester County Police Department's Real Time Crime Center, various New York State Police agencies, as well as the Hampden Township Police Department (PA) and Shrewsbury Police Department (MA). The Harrison Police Department expressed its appreciation for the coordinated efforts of all agencies involved and said it remains dedicated to protecting the safety of its community.
