Harrison Police Nab Greenwich Man In Commercial Burglary Case
Cops said the suspected burglar may have thought he got away with a brazen crime, but detectives weren't going to let that happen.

HARRISON, NY — It's hard enough to keep a small business going, but Harrison police said it didn't help that a popular local deli was targeted by a Greenwich thief.
Cops said the suspected burglar may have thought that he had gotten away with a brazen crime, but detectives weren't going to let that happen.
After the commercial burglary in West Harrison on Nov. 15, where a suspect smashed the front glass door of a deli/food market and stole cash and lottery tickets, the investigation started right away.

Harrison investigators arrested 36-year-old Cesar Salazar-Duque, of Greenwich, Connecticut in Port Chester.
He was charged with one felony count of burglary in the third degree and one felony count of criminal mischief in the third degree.

Salazar-Duque was remanded to the Westchester County Jail due to his prior felony convictions, police said.
"A nice arrest by our Detectives," Harrison police said. "Good old fashioned police work, combined with 21st century technology, helped to get this case solved quickly."
